Element for my movie site & web design gallery

posted by blee

The Movie “gravity” give me an inspiration of putting a motion background for my movie site “Fight Club”, In Fight Club the main actor Ed Norton has a split personality and there always have a flash effect appear on the movie. The motion background may allow me to recreate this effect in the website.

I found an interesting website call unmatchstyle. It shown any kind of website done by many people. from promotion website to music or even medical/ religious. But most of them are inspirational with a nontraditional structure like a whole scrolling page. check that out!

Website Inspiration

posted by paula coral

I like the typeface style that they used in this site and the slider with the torn paper look is really cool, maybe we could explore some of those elements to make our Shutter Island site look a little mysterious without coming off as a horror film.

We also want to have easy to view videos on the site so maybe a slider like this one could be done. We would have to find a way to allow viewers to see the videos individually and then rearrange them.

best microsites ever

posted by ccazayouz

I like the microsites on this site because it shows different, unique ways to use social media.  The companies all used different posting methods to fit their campaign, brand, and target audience.

For the end part of our campaign we are going to ask people to sponsor the individuals going on to the final adventures. The adventurers will pitch their plans and the more people donate, the more they win.

Microsite

This is the microsite for Bioshock. I really like this website because it is treated as a hub and forum for the game. With our campaign we will have to use the website in a similar way. I am hoping to maybe make the page a little more interesting and less like a comment board.

This is the first page of the site which has you choose which game you are playing. Hopefully we will have something like this based on our user profiles.

The second page asks you your age which will be required because there is an age limit to the game.

The last page is the final hub. This is a very simple and clear way to present the information needed as well as having a user related forum.

Some elements from existing website for Prj 3

posted by rsearles

This is a music website for the discovery of new and old music and to get people to talk abut music in general. Some elements that i would like to include in my website are things like the Blog page and the parts where you can look up and discover new and old music. One of the elements in our website is going to rely on people looking at posts and liking them so a blog type page is going to be essential. Also, the main theme in our website is music, and we would like to include sections where people can just browse through existing music and read up on news and gig info.
