NME The Sound Typeface Campaign

posted by tjacobs

NME is one of the world’s largest music magazines needed to speak to Brazilian music fans. NME transformed the sound waves of the song tracks presented on Soundcloud into a completely new form of media. They designed a font that could be read on the waves and created a design with the sound waves letter by letter, composing a soundtrack for each letter. With the alphabet, They wrote an ad for NME and put it right before songs by Brazil’s main Indie bands.

This is ridiculously cool. I like the different way of thinking. the only fault i can see is that I might get irritated hearing that soundtrack before the music I actually wanted to hear.
